Chateau De Montjoie
The trip to Chateau De Montjoie can be fun and exciting too! There are several ways to do it and with most of them, you'll be here by mid-morning (from the UK) and you'll still have the rest of the day to enjoy all that the Chateau has to offer!

Planes
The easiest and quickest way is obviously to take a flight. There are a few airports you could potentially fly into and three are fairly close and are the recommended ones.
The Chateau is:
-
One hour's drive from Nimes (Garons) Airport. The airline servicing Nimes is Ryanair from Luton and also from East Midlands
-
Or 1½ hours' drive from Montpellier flying Ryanair from Stansted or Easyjet from Gatwick
-
Or 2.5 hours' drive from Marseilles flying British Airways from Heathrow
Also, you can choose to connect with a train from a flight into Nimes and go directly to Chamborigaud town centre and take a 5 minute taxi from there to the Chateau, if you prefer not to fly-drive.
Trains
You may prefer to stay on solid ground and take go by rail all the way to the south of France. This is a fun option and especially good if you'll be travelling with heavy or lots of luggage and prefer to remain airline-and-overweight-luggage-hassle-free.
To begin you'll need to take the - Eurostar to Lille or Paris and then TGV to Nimes.
From Nimes either a taxi or train to Chamborigaud (which goes into Clermont Ferrand) – the Chateau is a 15 minute walk from the train station.
...& Automobiles
Of course you could always drive all the way here which can be delightful in itself, but if you're not feeling that fruity, you can use a hire car from the airport or anywhere around Nimes, Montpelier or Marseille.
FROM THE SOUTH: From Nimes go to Ales on the motorway by the airport and come off when signposted to Ales. Head to Ales. On arriving in Ales, you'll follow the signposts for Salindres and then to Genolhac bound for Chamborigaud. You'll have a lovely drive through several quaint and beautiful villages before arriving into Chamborigaud. The Chateau is 2 minutes from there and quite a landmark!
Drive along the unmade road and go straight ahead to the Chateau. Parking is anywhere around the front door... And your holiday has already begun!
